Sludge treatment chemicals of ARK
Sludge treatment chemicals polymer which we are distributing are imported from many developed countries. Using high-tech organic synthesis line. Based on two brand polymers (Hanaro) and (Damoa). These two brands were first commercialized in the land of kimchi.
Currently, we mainly distribute 2 product codes: Anion polyme A1110 and Cation polyme C1492. Their chemical properties are similar when the main ingredient is polyacrylamide. Packaged as powder, emulsion, or soluble solution. The concentration of polymer solution suitable for all types of sludge dewatering is from 0.15 to 0.2%.
Polyme Anion A1110 (powder)
Main ingredient is polyacrylamide – PAM (chemical formula -CN 2 CHCONH 2 -) and contain anions. In addition, ARK also distributes the emulsion form of this polymer.
The advantage of powder form is its small volume, easy storage, and transportation. However, in normal conditions, it is quite insoluble in water. Due to the long dissolution time, the impeller system of the dissolution tank must operate continuously. Powder polymer is a desiccant. It is prone to clumping when exposed to air, making it difficult to dissolve in water. Therefore, we use a specialized sealed container and a drying unit. For better storage and transportation.
In contrast, emulsions and solutions have extremely fast dissolution times. They only take 5 minutes in the mixing tank and can be immediately supplied to the sludge dewatering. The water contained in the emulsion polymer is pure.
Anionic polymer solutions are suitable for all types of wastewater and feed water. The advantage is cheaper and more accessible than cationic polymers. The disadvantage of anionic polymers is negligible. It forms flocs that are smaller in size and more prone to sedimentation than cationic polymers.
Polyme Cation C1492 (powder)
Polyme Cation C1492 has the same main ingredient is: polyacrylamide – PAM (chemical formula -CN 2 CHCONH 2 -) and contain cations. The emulsion form of this polymer is quite expensive, especially when purchased in large quantity.
The cationic polymer solution is suitable for all wastewater and feedwater treatment systems. They react strongly, coagulating suspended solids contained in wastewater (flocculant). The resulting flocs are large, suspended in water. Especially, there is no sedimentation, which helps sludge dewatering for maximum efficiency.
