Introducing Song Da water supply plant

SONG DA WATER INVESTMENT JSC (Viwasupco) was established in 2009, with the goal of maintaining a stable water supply and ensuring safe and clean water quality for the people of Hanoi city. Currently, the Company is the only unit providing clean water from Da River surface water source to Hanoi Capital with an average capacity in 2022 of 292,000 m3/day and night.

Due to increased water demand in 2023, the plant is operating at full capacity for the first phase, providing customers with an average of about 300,000 m3/day and night. Phase 2 of Da River Water Plant includes: Water plant and Water source exploitation project under the investment project to build urban water supply system Son Tay - Hoa Lac - Xuan Mai - Mieu Mon - Hanoi - Ha Dong phase II, increasing capacity to 600,000m3/day and night is expected to be completed and put into use in the fourth quarter of 2024.
